Picking up a call from the answering machine on the handset
You can pick up a call while the answering machine is recording it.

Pick up call
Recording stops and you can speak to the caller. If 3 seconds of
the call have already been recorded when you pick it up, the call
will be displayed as a new message. The
call ends.

Calls are picked up on the base station by pressing the
handsfree key.

Setting up the answering machine

Ring delay
You can set when you want the answering machine to activate.
The options are: immediately, after 10 sec., after 20 sec. (the
default setting) or after 30 sec. Instead of a fixed ring delay you
can also select the auto setting.
In this setting the answering machine activates automatically:
after 10 seconds if there are new messages;

being recorded and can be picked up.
