Setting the base
Use the E1 handset to make settings on the base. Settings which
you make on the base itself are only temporary.

Changing the loudspeaker volume of the base

The loudspeaker volume is the volume that the built-in base loud-
speaker uses for message playback and in handsfree mode. There
are 5 volume levels for you to choose from. You can set the vol-
ume on the base (temporary) or with the handset (main setting).
Setting on the base (only temporary):
During message playback or when in handsfree mode, press
(for louder) or
