There are two methods to begin a call from the idle state of the snom 360. You can
either dial with the handset resting in the cradle and then pick it up or press the
speakerphone key, or you can pick up the handset or press the speakerphone key and
then dial the number. In the latter case, press the check mark key to start dialing.
The snom 360 displays the current communication status.
During a call, it is possible to switch between both modes by pressing the handset/
headset function keys or the speaker key on the upper left side.
Dial a phone number using the numeric keypad. If the user has not pressed a key for
several seconds, the phone reminds the user to press the check mark key to start the
call. You can also dial using a SIP address or IP address.
To dial a SIP address
• Enter the SIP address using the numeric keypad.
To find the @ symbol, press the numeric key "1" twice to find the dot, press the
hash "#" key until it changes to a dot.
