Changing the mode settings

Selecting the mode setting of
each item
Items for both CAMCORDER/PHOTO
and VTR modes
COMMANDER <VTR4/OFF/ID/ID SET>
• Select VTR4 when using the supplied Remote
Commander for the camcorder.
• Select OFF when not using the Remote
Commander.
• Select ID when using the Remote Commander
set to the ID number.
• Select ID SET when setting the ID number to
the Remote Commander.
BEEP <ON/OFF>
• Select ON so that beeps sound when you
start/stop recording, etc.
• Select OFF when you do not want to hear the
beep sound.
LCD COLOR
Select this item and change the level of the
indicator by pressing + or – to adjust the color
intensity of the picture.
Items for CAMCORDER/PHOTO mode
only
PGM AE* <AUTO/SPORTS/SUNSETMOON/
LANDSCAPE>
• Select AUTO to set PROGRAM AE (Auto
Exposure) automatically depending on your
shooting situation.
• Select SPORTS to set PROGRAM AE to the
sports lesson mode.
• Select SUNSETMOON to set PROGRAM AE to
the sunset and moon mode.
• Select LANDSCAPE to PROGRAM AE to the
landscape mode.
WHT BAL* <AUTO/HOLD/OUTDOOR/INDOOR>
• Normally select AUTO to adjust the white
balance automatically.
• Select HOLD when recording monochromatic
subject or background.
• Select OUTDOOR when recording in the
outdoor mode.
• Select INDOOR when recording in the indoor
mode.

• Sélectionnez VTR4 si vous utilisez la
télécommande fournie avec le camescope.
• Sélectionnez OFF lorsque vous n'utilisez pas la
télécommande.
• Sélectionnez ID lors de l'utilisation de la
télécommande réglée sur le numéro ID.
• Sélectionnez ID SET lorsque vous réglez le
numéro ID de la télécommande.
BEEP <ON/OFF>
• Sélectionnez ON pour que des signaux sonores
retentissent lorsque vous commencez/finissez
l'enregistrement, etc.
• Sélectionnez OFF si vous ne voulez pas
entendre le signal sonore.
LCD COLOR
Sélectionnez ce paramètre et modifiez le niveau
de l'indicateur en appuyant sur + ou – pour
ajuster l'intensité de la couleur de l'image.

PGM AE* <AUTO/SPORTS/SUNSETMOON/
LANDSCAPE>
• Sélectionnez AUTO pour que l'exposition se
règle automatiquement en fonction de la
situation de prise de vue.
• Sélectionnez SPORTS pour régler PROGRAM
AE en mode de leçon de sport.
• Sélectionnez SUNSETMOON pour régler
PROGRAM AE en mode de crépuscule et de
lune.
• Sélectionnez LANDSCAPE pour régler
PROGRAM AE en mode de paysage.
WHT BAL* <AUTO/HOLD/OUTDOOR/INDOOR>
• Sélectionnez en principe AUTO pour le réglage
automatique de la balance des blancs.
• Sélectionnez HOLD pour enregistrer un sujet
ou un arrière-plan monochrome.
• Sélectionnez OUTDOOR lorsque vous
enregistrez en extérieur.
• Sélectionnez INDOOR lorsque vous enregistrez
en intérieur.
