Tuner step setting
If you find that you can't tune into stations
successfully, the frequency step may not be
suitable for your country/region.
• AM 9K – AM 9kHz / FM50Hz
• AM 10K – AM10kHz / FM100Hz
Front Audio / Line attenuator settings
If the source connected to the front panel
F.AUDIO input (F. Audio In) or the rear panel
LINE input (Line) is distorting, the attenuator
will reduce the signal level.
• ATT 6dB – Reduces signal level by 6dB
• ATT Off – No attenuation
System demo setting
Switches the automatic demo feature on or off
(this starts when you plug in for the first time):
• Demo On – Switches the demo feature on
• Demo Off – Switches the demo feature off

Dimming the display

To change the brightness of the front panel
display, the system must be switched on
(simply skip step 1 in Optional system settings
above).
• Light – Regular display brightness
• Dark – Display dimming is switched on

Using and taking care of discs

DVD Video regions

All DVD Video discs carry a region mark that
indicates which region(s) of the world the disc
is compatible with. Your DVD system also has
a region mark (on the rear panel). Discs from
incompatible regions will not play in this
player. Discs marked ALL play in any player.
Note
1 After setting the clock, the demo mode switches off automatically. However, if you unplug the system from the wall outlet, the
demo mode will revert to Demo On (and the clock will be reset).

will generally feature one of the following logos
on the disc and/or disc packaging. Note
however that some disc types, such as
recordable CD and DVD, may be in an
unplayable format.
