DVB TIMER PROGRAMMING MENU
Daily and Weekly Timer Programmes
While in the Date field of the DVB
Timer Programming menu, you
can select various options to
determine how often a recording
should be made. Press the down
cursor button repeatedly to access
the following options:
Daily Su- -Sa
The VCR will record at the same
time every day.
Daily Mo- -Sa
The VCR will record at the same
time each day from Monday to
Saturday.
Daily Mo- -Fr
The VCR will record at the same time each day from Monday to Friday.
Weekly Sa, Fr, Th, We, Tu, Mo, or Su
The VCR will record at the same time on the same day each week.
Note:
If new timer programme data overlaps any part of an existing timer programme, the message "Timer Incorrect" will be displayed and
the new data will be cleared. If overlapping data is entered using the Timer function on the TV Guide menu (see page 36), the message
"Timer cannot be set! Selected programme time repeated or overlapped" will appear.
Encrypted Programmes
Some DVB programmes might be
"scrambled" or "encrypted".
This means that the DVB
programme cannot be viewed or
recorded unless you have the
correct Common Interface module
to decode the programme.
When you attempt to view or set
Timer recording of a scrambled
programme and you have no CI
module inserted, a message will
appear on screen.
If you have a CI module inserted,
but it is not suitable for
descrambling the service, the
message may be replaced with a
second message. Press GUIDE to
select a different channel.
If you were attempting to record an
encrypted channel, press GUIDE,
EXIT to cancel the recording.
Press GUIDE again to select a
different channel.
