Reducing the transmission

This function changes the size of the paper being sent to match the size
of paper at the receiving end. If you select [DO NOT RED.], the document
will be sent regardless of the size of paper at the receiving machine.
1 First feed the document into the document feeder and press [FAX] on
the control panel.
2 Press the [QUALITY &
REDUCTION] tab.
3 Press the [REDUCTION/AREA]
tab.
4 Press [REDUCTION].
5 Select the required setting and
start the transmission.
