To change a software switch setting

After entering Administrator mode, touch [Admin. 2].
– For details on entering to Administrator mode, perform steps 1
through 3 of "Deleting confidential documents" on page 6-10.

Touch [Software SW].

Touch [Mode Selection], and then
use the keypad to type in the mode
number.

Touch either [Bit Selection] or [HEX
Selection], and then specify the
setting.
– To specify the bits, touch [Bit
Selection], move the cursor to the
bit to be changed, press either
the [0] or the [1] key in the keypad
to specify the bit, and then touch
[Set].
