Using the Password
Use the following procedure to access the MAIN menu with a password:

NOTICE! If a user forgets the password, you must restore the default settings to clear the

password. See Section 2.5.3 Restoring Factory Default Settings, page 38 for more information.
Disabling the Password

Confirm your four digit password using the arrow keys.
Press the Return key to confirm password.
If the password is not correct the unit displays the following screen:
NEW PASSWORD
INVALID PASSWORD
TO EXIT PRESS RETURN KEY
Press the Return key to exit the menu.
If the password is correct the unit displays the following screen:
NEW PASSWORD
NEW PASSWORD SAVED
TO EXIT PRESS RETURN KEY
Press the MENU key. The unit displays the following screen:
ENTER PASSWORD
ENTER 0---
PRESS ENTER TO CONFIRM
Use the arrow keys to enter the password; then press the Return key.
If the password is entered incorrectly the unit displays the following screen:
ENTER PASSWORD
INVALID PASSWORD
TO EXIT PRESS RETURN KEY
If the password is correct the unit grants access to the menus.
Press the Up and Down arrow keys and select DISABLE PASSWORD; then press the
Return key. The unit displays the following menu:
DISABLE PASSWORD
PASSWORD CLEARED
TO EXIT PRESS RETURN KEY
Press the Return key to exit the menu.
