Stretch one metal strap around the chimney.
Do not allow the strap to twist.

Pull the strap tight around the chimney.
Make sure the strap is horizontal
all the
way around.
4. Insert the free end of the strap through the eyebolt supplied with the kit. Then,
attach the strap clamps as shown below.

5. Tighten the strap around the chimney
by tightening
its eyebolts.
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 of this procedure
to attach the second metal strap.
