7.1 GSM Network Setting

Sending of data, emails and MMS messages from the camera requires correct setting of some GSM network param-
eters. These parameters depend on the country you live in and on the GSM network you use.
The EYE-02 camera can automatically adjust the correct setting for most GSM networks. If there are some specific
settings for your GSM network provided by your GSM network operator, these can be configured manually using
JabloTool , follow Device configuration > GSM network.
Please contact your GSM service provider for detailed parameter settings.

Your SIM card is out-of-service or blocked by a PIN code – remove the SIM card from the camera, put
it into your GSM phone and try to make a call or send an SMS. If PIN protected, please disable the PIN
protection.
Your SIM card is not placed in the SIM holder correctly, or the camera does not support your SIM card
type. Check whether the SIM card is placed in the holder correctly or contact your GSM service provider.
The camera location is not covered by a GSM network signal - check the quality of GSM network signal
directly at the place of the camera installation: place your mobile phone close to the camera, wait a few
seconds and read the signal strength from your phone display. If the signal is too low you might try to
replace the original camera GSM antenna by another approved type of GSM antenna with a higher gain.
Your SD card is not inserted or it is not inserted properly. Remove and insert the SD card again.
Camera cannot detect necessary data structures on the SD card. Data structures on the SD card have
been damaged or a new SD card has been inserted into the camera. Connect your camera by USB cable
to the computer and launch JabloTool desktop. JabloTool will ask you whether you wish to launch update
tool to recover the corrupted data structures. Select yes and the update tool will format the card.

TEST and CONFIGURATION buttons have been disabled. In JabloTool, go to Configura-
tion, External devices. On the line where your remote control RC-80 is mentioned, press Configure and
