To change the blade on a Craftex B1012 band saw:

1. Remove the upper wheel cover.
2. Release blade tension by loosening the hex bolt on the upper part of the saw frame.
3. Carefully remove the old blade from the wheels and guide blocks.
4. Place the new blade onto the center of both the upper and lower wheels.
5. Re-tension the blade by tightening the hex bolt until the blade stays centered and cuts straight.
6. Adjust the upper and lower guide blocks so they are close but not tight to the blade, just behind the blade's gullet.
7. Adjust the wheel bearing guides to lightly touch the back of the blade.

Ensure all covers are replaced and secured before operating.
