3.1.3 Alarm
Alarms are used to turn on and off sirens and, lights when certain events occur e.g. when motion is
detected or a Alarm-In triggered. Configure the DVR using the explanations below.

Alarm-In channel : Select channel number to setup Alarm-In.

Alarm-In name : Input name for selected channel for Alarm-In.

Pre rec time : Set the pre-recording time for the period between when the event was detected in

Alarm-In and when the DVR starts recording.
Post rec time : Set the post recording time for the period after when the event was detected in

Alarm-In and when the DVR stops recording.

Full Screen : When event an occurs set the DVR so it shows picture of camera which is
connected sensor full screen in the watch display.

Discard Time : The discard time option is to limit the amount of alarm inputs created
within a set time period. If an alarm is triggered more than once in the set time period,
then the subsequent alarms will be discarded until the time from the first alarm is more
than the discard time.

Linked PTZ : When event an occurs link a PTZ camera to move to a preset position.
Alarm-In type : Designate signal type of Alarm-In. Whenever upon activation the Alarm-In change

from [NC]->[NO] or [NO]->[NC].
"NO" : When Alarm-In is closed, event is occurred. (Normally Open).
"NC" : When Alarm-In is opened, event is occurred. (Normally Close).
Alarm-Out channel : Select alarm-out which will be linked with Alarm-In.

Dwell time : Select the length of the alarm-out time. The alarm will activate for as long as the dwell time

inputted and will start from when the event occurred.

Alarm-In button : Select sensors to be linked with alarm-out.
