114 Using Advanced Features
Use DHCP Options
Check to [Use DHCP Options] to obtain settings information for update. Then, select
DHCP Option No. for [Protocol], [Server Name], and [Server Relative Path].
Uncheck to [Use DHCP Options] when not using DHCP option. Then, enter values for
[Protocol], [Server Name], and [Server Relative Path].
Protocol
Select a protocol (HTTP or FTP) to communicate with the download server.
Server Name
Enter the server name or its IP address from which the update file is obtained.
Server Relative Path
Enter the pathname of the folder to store update files (in the example above, type as
"US110UPDATE".)
User Name
When using FTP server, enter the user name who accesses the server.
If anonymous user is specified, this box is grayed out.
Password
When using FTP server, enter password of the user who accesses the server.
If anonymous user is specified, this box is grayed out.
Use Anonymous
Check to [Use Anonymous] to use anonymous.
When checked, [User Name] and [Password] boxes are grayed out.
Automatically update on booting
When checked, the US110 accesses to the specified server every time when it is started,
and check the version of software. If any updated software is found, the US110 performs
update automatically.
The check dialog of an automatic update start is displayed
Check to open the dialog to confirm the start of automatic update when the update file is
found on download server.
The band of the update is controlled
Check this item to control the bandwidth used for downloading. The default setting is
"Unchecked".
Bandwidth
Select a bandwidth. The default value is "1Mbps".
– 1Mbps
– 512kbps
– 256Kbps
– 128Kbps
