Select screen color [16bpp] or [32bpp].
Screen Saver
Select whether to enable or disable the screen saver. Set the waiting time between 1 and
20 minutes.
NOTES:
We recommend 16bpp settings for both US110 screen color setting
and screen color setting of virtual PC connection in order to obtain
the best screen display performance of US110.
In order to use DDC option, the display supporting DDC must be
used.
Specify 16bpp for the screen color when using 1920×1200
(WUXGA) screen resolution. If 32bpp is selected, US110 will start
with 640×480 (VGA) 8bpp. Moreover, even if US110 is displayed
with resolution of 1920×1200 (WUXGA) 16bpp, it will be
displayed in 1600×1200×16bpp during RDP connections. (RDP 5.5
specification.)
When [Activate DDC] is selected and the best resolution for the
connected display is selected from the list in [DDC Display
Resolution], [Set best display in DDC monitor] may be checked at
the next reboot. This phenomenon has been confirmed with
1440×900, 1680×1050 resolution of wide display.
NOTE:
If the specified resolution is beyond the capability of display,
the screen will show nothing. In such a case, you can reboot US110
with 640×480 (VGA) 16bpp screen resolution by pressing F12 key
within 3 seconds after reboot. If the display supports DDC, US110 is
rebooted with the best display setting for DDC monitor. After reboot,
specify the resolution appropriate to your display.
