8.1

Assemble Rack Mount Brackets

The DS3640/DS6024/DS8018/DS10014 is designed to fit in a space of one
rack unit (1U) and can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack panel or cabinet.
Rack mount brackets shall be assembled before mount in a rack. Refer to the
following figure to assemble the rack mount brackets.
8.2

Assembly of Output Protective Shield (DS6024/DS8018/DS10014)

Safety regulation requests protective shield when the output voltage is higher
than 45Vdc. Therefore, there are protective shields for the output connectors
for the DS6024/DS8018/DS10014. Refer to the following figure for the
assembly/disassembly of the output protective shield.
