Clean the feed rollers by wiping
them with a soft, damp cloth that
has been wrung out well.

Close the duplex option door.

Open the front door.

Remove the waste toner bottle.
The waste toner bottle
contains waste toner. Be
careful not to tilt the bottle
while removing it.

Hold the waste toner bottle verti-
cally, and then plug the two open-
ings with the caps.
Place the removed waste toner bottle, with the openings facing up,
on a stable surface (not the printer).

Pull out the laser lens cover.
The laser lens cover cannot
be removed from the printer.
Do not pull it with too much
force.
