Removing the Used OPC Drum Cartridge

With the front door open and the
used waste toner bottle removed
(see page 53), rotate the transfer
belt unit release lever clockwise to
the top (11 o'clock) position.
This releases the pressure on the
transfer belt unit.

Grasp the release lever for the OPC
drum cartridge, and then pull the
cartridge straight out about 6 inches
(15 cm).

Support the bottom of the drum with
your hand, then carefully pull the
cartridge toward you and remove it.
Replacing Consumables
Dispose of the cartridge
properly according to your
local regulations.
