Scanner response to pairing requests
The following is the procedure for responding to a pairing request from a Bluetooth
Scanner
Store PIN code.

Wait for pairing request
↓
Scanner's indicator LED: Flashes green (flashing pattern similar to connection as slave)

Target Bluetooth device
Start pairing sequence

End of authentication

The scanner waits in its connection standby state for a Bluetooth
Use the scanner configuration software (ScannerSetting) to configure the scanner for
slave operation and then enter the PIN code.
Read the "Paring" bar code symbol.
Note: This operation aborts if there is no pairing request from the target Bluetooth
device within 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Select the scanner for pairing from the list of target Bluetooth
PIN code.
Note: For further details on the procedures, refer to the device and other manuals.
Successful completion of the pairing operation switches the scanner's indicator LED
to blue and sounds the scanner beeper once.
Failure switches the scanner's indicator LED to red and produces a longer beeper tone.
