9. Outdoor applications

VLS Series loudspeakers are rated IP65 for resistance to dust and moisture ingress, and are resistant to both

salt spray and UV exposure, making them suitable for use in most outdoor applications. Please consult with

your Tannoy dealer before installation in applications with extreme exposure to adverse environmental conditions

such as prolonged heavy rainfall, prolonged temperature extremes, etc.
