IR Remote Control
The separate IR remote controls only the basic system func-
tions including: Power On, Power Off, Music Mode, Movie
Mode, Level Up (+) and Level Down (-)
Most of these functions are self explanatory and were
described in previous sections. The level (+) and level (-) re-
mote buttons adjust the volume by 1 dB per press. Holding
down the level buttons will continuously adjust the volume
until released or the min./max positions are reached.
IR Direct Control
The IR Direct rear panel connection performs exactly
the same functions as described above in the IR Remote
Control section except it utilizes the rear panel electrical
connection.
Power Trigger Control
A logic high (within the specified range) will turn on the
system if it was previously off. While a high level is present
on the power trigger connection the system will remain on
indefinitely until removed.
A high to low transition on the power trigger connection
will turn off the system. A continuous low state (or no cable
attached) allows the other power change methods to take
control as needed.
