Power Switch

returns to standby.
Turning on the Amplifier
There are five methods to wake the amplifier from its
STANDBY state. System on is indicated by a blue lit ring
around the POWER switch.

2. Audio Signal Detection

automatically turn on when it receives an audio signal
at its input that is above the threshold (approx. 50
mVRMS).

voltage signal, within its specified range, on the rear
panel power trigger connector.
Note: The system will remain on indefinitely while a high
voltage level is present.
RS-232 Control
4. - The amplifier received a valid "system
on" RS-232 serial command.
5. IR Command - The amplifier received a valid "system
on" infrared command via either the front panel IR
sensor or the IR Direct rear panel connection.

Turning off the Amplifier
There are five methods to turn off the amplifier, returning it
to its STANDBY state. Standby is indicated by an amber lit
ring around the POWER switch.

2. Audio Off Timer
AUTO position, the amplifier will automatically turn off
if it does not sense any signal activity for about 30
minutes.
3. Power Trigger

Note: The amplifier must first sense a logic high voltage
within the specified range, otherwise it will not perform
any change as a logic low signal is the same as having no
power trigger attached.
