5. Press the [ ENT ] key, then press the [ ( UP )]
/ [ ( DOWN )] keys to select the operating
channel you want to communicate on and
press the [ ENT ] key.
6. Press the [ ENT ] key again to transmit the
Group Call signal.
7. After the GROUP CALL is transmitted, all
the radios in the group will switch to the
channel which is selected on step 5 above
(but, the display will not change).
8. Press the [ CLR ( WX )] key to return to radio
operation mode.
9. Listen to the channel to make sure it is not
busy, then key the microphone and call the
other vessels you desire to communicate with.
Manual Calling
You may enter an MMSI number manually to contact without the Setting up the
Group call number.
1. Press the [ CALL ( MENU )] key. The "DSC
MENU" will appear.

6. If a mistake was made entering in the MMSI num-
ber, repeat pressing the microphone's [ H/L ] key
until the wrong nunber is selected, then press the
[ ( UP )] / [ ( DOWN )] keys to correct the entry.
7. When finish the entering the MMSI number, press and hold the [ ENT ] key.
