AT+MS modulation selection
This extended-format compound parameter controls the manner of operation of the modulation
capabilities in the modem. It accepts six sub-parameters:
+MS=<carrier>, <automode>, <min_tx_rate>, <max_tx_rate>, <min_rx_rate), <max_rx_
rate><CR>.

Description
Disables data compression.
Enables MNP 5 data compression.
Enables V.42 bis data compression (sets S46 bit 1).
Enables V.42 bis and MNP 5 data compression (default).
Disables line quality monitor and auto-retrain.
Enables line quality monitor and auto-retrain.
Enables line quality monitor and fallback/fall-forward (default).
Line signal level. Returns a value that indicates the received signal level. Example,
009 = -9dBM.
Line signal quality. Reports line signal quality (DAA-dependent). Returns higher
order byte of the EQM value. Based on EQM value, retrain or fallback/fall-forward
may be iniated if enabled with AT%E1 or AT%E2 commands.
Select/force modulation.
