GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Switching on and off
Press » « to switch on the device from stand-by mode.

– The last input source used is automatically selected.
Note:
The following buttons on the device can also be used to switch on the
stereo system:
»TUNER/BAND« – Tuner mode
»CD
II« – CD mode
»TAPE« – Tape mode (on device only).
Press » « to switch the device to standby mode.

Select the input source with »TUNER/BAND«,

Adjusting the volume

Adjust the volume with »

Sound settings
You can select between five different sound settings. You can choose
»FLAT«, »CLASSIC«, »POP«, »JAZZ« or »ROCK« according to the type of
music you are listening to.
Select the sound setting by pressing »DSC«.

Activating the Ultra Bass System
This function boosts the bass frequencies.

Press »UBS« on the remote control to switch the Ultra Bass System on or
off.

Activating Surround Sound

This function activates the surround sound.
Press
»SURROUND

Listening with headphones

Connect the headphones to the headphones socket »PHONES« (on the

left side of the unit) (ø 3.5 mm).
– This automatically switches off the loudspeakers.
« (scale from »0« to »40«).
VOLUME + –
SOUND« to switch the surround sound on or off.
