    Adjusting the position of the gearchange and rear brake pedals The position of the gearchange and rear brake pedals in relation to the footrests can be adjusted to suit the requirements of the rider. To adjust the position, proceed as follows: restrain the tie-rod (1) and slacken the locknuts (2) and (3).

    Lubricating the drive chain The chain fitted on your motorcycle has O-rings to protect its moving parts from dirt, and to hold the lubricant inside. So as not to damage these seals when cleaning the chain, use special solvents and avoid aggressive washing with high-pressure steam cleaners.

    Replacing bulbs Before replacing a burnt-out bulb, make sure that the new one matches the voltage and wattage specifications in the “Electrical System” paragraph on page 75. Always check that the new bulb works before refitting all the parts. Headlight To access the headlight bulbs, loosen the lower bolt (1) that secures the lens/reflector assembly to the shell.

Draw a horizontal line on the wall at the height of the centre of the headlight and a vertical one in line with the longitudinal axis of the motorcycle.
