Changing the high and low beam bulbs
Before replacing a burnt-out bulb, make sure that the new
one matches the voltage and wattage specifications in the
"Electrical System" paragraph on page 105. Always check
that the new bulb works before refitting removed parts.
fig. 72 shows the position of the low beam (LO), high beam
(HI) and side light (1) bulbs.

Headlight
To gain access to the left-hand bulb, remove the cover (2)
by pressing the lever (A).
Rotate the locking ring nut (3) of the upper bulb body anti-
clockwise and extract the burnt-out bulb. Replace with a
bulb of equal rating.
On refitting, rotate the locking ring nut (3) clockwise to
secure the bulb in place.
The right-hand bulb is replaced in the same way.
