What to do if ...

Problem
The oven does not heat up
"F 9" appears in the display.
The oven does not heat up but
the function display is in opera-
tion.
A small arrow is illuminated.
The oven light is not operating
The rotary spit does not turn.
If you are unable to remedy the problem by fol-
lowing the above suggestions, please contact
your dealer or the Customer Care Department.

If the appliance has been wrongly operated,
the visit from the customer service technician
or dealer may not take place free of charge,
even during the warranty period.

Advice on cookers with metal
fronts:
Because of the cold surface at the front of the
cooker, opening the oven door during (or just
after) baking or roasting may cause the glass
to steam up.

Possible cause
The oven has not been switched on
The clock has not been set
The required settings have not been
carried out
Oven safety cut-out has been trig-
gered
The house wiring fuse (in the fuse
box) has tripped
The oven light is out of order.
The wrong oven function has been
set.
The rotary spit is not inserted correct-
ly.
Remedy
Switch the oven on
Set the current time on the clock
Check the settings
See Oven Safety Cut-out
Check the fuse. If the fuses trip sev-
eral times, please call a qualified
electrician
Press the On/Off
button.
Turn the oven function to OFF. Do not
switch off the oven.
Hold down the three central buttons
at the same time until a signal
sounds.
Replace oven bulb
Select the oven function with rotary
spin.
Push the rotary spit in as far as the
stop.
