Before Using for the First Time Setting the time The oven functions only when the time has been set. After the appliance has been connected to the electricity supply and following a power failure the „set time“ W arrow flashes. Set the current time using the +/- switch.
Initial Cleaning Before using the oven for the first time you should clean it thoroughly. Caution: Do not use any caustic, abrasive cleaners! The surface could be damaged. To clean metal fronts use commercially available cleaning agents. 1.Turn the oven function switch to oven lighting L. 2.Remove all accessories and the shelf support rails and wash them with warm water and washing up liquid.

Switching the oven on Turn the "oven functions" switch to the required function. The temperature dis- play indicates the recommended temperature for the oven function select- The oven begins to heat up. A signal will sound when the set temper- ature has been reached.
Switching off the oven To switch off the ove, turn the „oven functions“ switch and the „temperature selection“ switch to the zero position. Cooling fan When the oven is switched on, the fan comes on automatically to keep the surfaces the appliance cool. When the oven is switched off, the fan contin- ues to operate to cool the appliance down, then switches itself off.
Oven Functions The oven has the following functions: The Top Heat/Bottom Heat ¡ and Turbo All-Round Grill » functions in- clude an automatic Fast Warm Up function. This garantees that the tem- perature selected will be reached as quickly as possible. L Oven lighting With this function you can illuminate the oven interior, e.g., for cleaning.
U Bottom Heat Suggested temperature: 120°C For baking cakes with crusty bases. Bottom Heat is on. Inserting the general purpose pan, grill, and tray Inserting the general purpose pan and tray: The trays have a little bulge on the left and right edges.
Clock Functions Cook time d To set how long the oven is to be in use. Countdown G To set a countdown. A signal sounds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the functioning of the oven. End time e To set when the oven is to switch off again.

Countdown timer G 1.Continue pressing the clock functions button “T” until the countdown timer arrow G is flashing. 2.Set the desired period of time using the +/- button. (Max. 99 minutes). After approx. 5 seconds the display will indicate the amount of time remaining. The countdown timer arrow G will be lit.

Cook time d and end time e functions in combination The cook time function and the end time function can be used simultane- ously if the oven is required to automatically switch itself on and off at a fu- ture point in time. 1.Select the oven function and the tem- perature.

Changing the time W 1.Continue pressing the clock functions button “T” until the set time arrow W is flashing. 2.Set the current time using the +/- buttons. 3.After approx. 5 seconds the arrow will stop flashing and the clock will display the time as set.
Other Functions: Display brightness is automatically reduced between 22.00 and 6.00 h. Switching off the Time Indicator You can save power by swtiching off the time indicator. The appliance must be switched off. • Press the temperature check button C for about 2 seconds, until the dis- play darkens.
The oven's safety cut-out function The oven automatically switches itself off if it is not switched off after a cer- tain period of time or if the temperature is not adjusted. The last temperature to have been set flashes in the temperature display and a signal sounds.
Mechanical Door Lock When the appliance is delivered, the door lock is deactivated. Activate the door lock Pull the safety catch forwards until it locks in place. Open the oven door: 1.Shut the door. 2.Press the safety catch and keep it de- pressed.

Drying with Hot Air Use shelves lined with greaseproof paper or baking paper. You will achieve a better result if you switch the oven off half way through the drying time. Open and leave to cool, preferably overnight. Then finish drying the dried food.

Oven Door Glass The oven door is fitted with three glass panels mounted one behind the oth- er. The inner panels may be removed for cleaning. Warning: Carry out the following steps only when the oven door is un- hinged! When left on its hinges, the door could rise rapidly due to the lighter weight when the glass is removed and could cause injury.
