Engine oil

Make sure the engine oil is at the specified
level. Fill with oil as necessary. (See page 7-6
for details.)
Recommended oil:
-20° -10° 0° 10° 20° 30° 40°
SAE 10W/30
SAE 10W/40
SAE 20W/40
SAE 20W/50
Recommended engine oil classification:
API Service "SE", "SF" type or
equivalent
(e.g. "SF-SE", "SF-SE-CC",
"SF-SE-SD" etc.)

CAUTION:
Do not put in any chemical additives. Also,
be sure not to use oils labeled "ENERGY
CONSERVING II" or higher. Engine oil also
lubricates the clutch and additives could
cause clutch slippage.

Check the general condition of the chain and
the chain slack before every ride. Lubricate
and adjust the chain as necessary.
