SPID: More than one telephone number may be
assigned to you, according to your ISDN service, and
each telephone number may have different features.
The local telephone service provider has provided a
SPID (Service Profile Identifier). It's not the number
someone uses to call you: that number is still a
"telephone number." But it is the number the network
system uses to identify you. You won't have much to
do with your SPID after you setup your system, but it
must be entered during the initial installation. The
SPID is provided by your local telephone company.
DN: Your "Directory Number" (or telephone number)
is the number others use to call your system.
Depending on your ISDN service, you may have more
than one DN.

National ISDN: National ISDN service standardizes

Download Programming: Depending on your
service, some configuration settings may be
automatically set for you when your telephone requests
a download from the service provider.
