Anti-Virus Protection
This item is enabled by default; the AwardBIOS will monitor the boot sector to see if
there is virus. If virus is found the BIOS will halt on the system and the following warning
message will appear.
Paragon Boot Virus analyzer has detected
NOTE: When enabling this item, the monitoring boot sector
virus only happens at the booting period. After
entering the system this function is disabled
automatically. So you can run any kind of program
such as many disk diagnostic programs, which
attempts to access boot sectors or the partition table
of hard disk drive when it is running.
