Setting and storing radio stations

Automatic station search
After the device has been connected to the mains for the first time, it searches in
tuner mode on the FM frequency band for up to 40 stations which are most easi-
ly received and stores them. In this process, preference is given to RDS stations.

After connection, switch on the device by pressing
– Display: »
– The search has started. After the search has finished, the station stored in
preset position 01 can be heard.
– Simultaneously, a demo program starts in the display which runs through
the different functions of the device as a ticker text. The display back light
switches between eight different colours. Press »
program.
Notes:
The automatic station search can be interrupted with
TIME« on the remote control.
To switch the demo program back on in stand-by mode, press and hold
down »DISPLAY« on the remote control.

Select the frequency band (FM or MW) by pressing »TUNER/BAND«.

Activate the station search by pressing
frequency display changes to rapid run-through.
– The search stops when a programme is found.
Manual station search

To move the frequency forward in steps, briefly press
DOWN« several times.
– The frequency changes in steps of 50 kHz.
Storing stations on station positions

Select the frequency band (FM or MW) by pressing the »TUNER/BAND«
button.

To activate the storage function press »PROG./RAND./TIME« on the
remote control.
– Display: the next free station position, e.g. »
for approximately 10 seconds.
