You cannot position your vehicle
on the map or the positioning
error is large.
The map continually reorients it-
self.
Tracking marks are not dis-
played.
The daylight display is used
even when the vehicle lights are
on.
The system will not switch on or
will not operate.
The display is very dim.
No sounds are heard.
The volume level will not rise.
Adjusting the volume of naviga-
tion guidance and beeps is not
possible.
Something covers the GPS aerial.
Signals from the vehicle's speed
pulse are not being picked up prop-
erly.
The navigation system may not be
mounted securely in your vehicle.
Your vehicle is operating in Simple
hybrid mode.
The navigation system is installed
with an extreme angle exceeding
the limitation of the installation
angle.
Indication of the position of your ve-
hicle is misaligned after a U-turn or
reversing.
The travelling direction is set to
Heading up.
[Tracking Display] is turned off.
[Daytime] is set to [Day/Night Dis-
play].
The orange/white lead is not con-
nected.
Installation or connection has been
carried out incorrectly.
The vehicle's light is turned ON, and
[Illuminated] is selected on [Day/
Night Display].
The vehicle cabin temperature is ex-
tremely low.
Picture quality adjustment of the
display is not correct.
The volume level is low.
The attenuator or mute is on.
The speaker lead is disconnected.
You cannot adjust them with VO-
LUME knob.
Do not cover the GPS aerial with spray paint
or vehicle wax, because this may block the re-
ception of GPS signals. Snow buildup can
also degrade the signals.
Check that the cables are properly connected.
If necessary, consult the dealer that installed
the system.
Check that the navigation system is securely
mounted and, if necessary, consult the dealer
that installed the system.
Connect the speed signal input (pink lead
wire) of the power cable correctly, and reset
the 3D Hybrid Sensor memory ([Learning
Status]).
Confirm the installation angle. (The naviga-
tion system must be installed within the al-
lowed installation angle. For details, refer to
"Installation Manual".)
Check whether or not the reverse gear signal
input lead (violet) is connected properly. (The
navigation system works properly without the
lead connected, but positioning accuracy will
be adversely affected.)
Touch
on the screen and change the map
display.
Check [Tracking Display] settings and make
sure [Always] or [This Trip] is selected.

Check [Day/Night Display] setting and make
sure [Illuminated] is selected. (Page 73)
Check the connection.
Check with your dealer.
Read about [Day/Night Display] setting and,
if desired, select [Daytime]. (Page 73)
A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is used, and
such displays tend to darken when cold. Wait
for the vehicle to warm up.
Refer to "Page 128" to adjust the picture qual-
ity.
Adjust the volume level.
Turn the attenuator or mute off.
Check the connection.
Turn the volume up or down according to [Vo-
lume] in [Settings] menu. (Page 70)
