Tape Library Attachment

Perform these procedures to install a LTO drive into the tape library:

Tools Required

• Phillips screwdriver

• 3/16-inch nut driver

Install the drive(s) in the library.

Attach the Y-cable between the drive and the library bulkhead.

Attach the interface cable to the drive.

Power-on the drive.

Configure the LTO drive.

Attach the SCSI terminator.

Attach the interface cable to the host.
