Turning the System Over to the Customer

After the LTO drive has been installed, it is time to turn the system over to the customer.

Follow these steps:

1. Place the drive online (see Chapter 6 of the installation manual).

2. Return to the library installation manual and complete the library installation, if

applicable.

Note: The library configuration must be updated to identify LTO drives, and

cartridge arrays may need to be installed.

3. Provide the operator with training on the LTO drive.

4. Provide training on how to place a service call.
