Connecting to Image Sources You can connect any other compatible image source to your projector. You can connect up to three (PowerLite 260d) or four (PowerLite 280d) image devices at one time. The projector automatically detects the image format. It can receive CVBS signals, Y/C signals, RGB signals, and Component signals.

Projecting nce you’ve set up the projector, you’re ready to turn it on, adjust the image, and give your presentation. Although you can operate the projector without it, the remote control lets you use additional features. See Chapter 3 for instructions on using the remote.
Turning On Your Equipment Make sure your projector and other equipment are set up and connected correctly, as described in Chapter 1. Then turn on your projector, as described below. Adjusting the Height of Your Image If the image is too high or low, you can adjust the projector’s position to correct it. If the projector is mounted to the ceiling, adjust its position using the ceiling mount. If the projector is on a table, pull up on the blue foot release lever and lift the front of the projector to extend the front adjustable foot.
Adjusting the Image Shape If the projector is tilted up or down, the images that are displayed will be distorted. To correct the distortion or “keystone” shape, do one or more of the following: ■ If your image looks like , you’ve placed the projector off to one side of the screen, at an angle.
Correcting Computer Images If you’ve connected a computer and the image doesn’t look right, or it doesn’t fit properly on the screen, press the button on the Enter projector or the button on the remote control.
