The standard hopper can normally feed a maximum
of 50 sheets (17lb) continuously. In single-sheet
feed mode, heavy paper, envelopes, labels, and
transparency film can also be fed. (Refer to Table 8-
1-a.)
Multiple sheets of paper from 16 to 22 lbs. can
be loaded into the hopper at a time. The maxi-
mum capacity is 50 sheets for 17 lb paper; it
varies with the weight of paper you use.
Heavier paper (23 - 28 lbs), envelopes, transpar-
encies, or labels should be loaded one sheet at a
time into the hopper.
The method of setting sheets in multi-sheet feed and
single-sheet feed modes is the same.
