Objective: To set the Secure Data mode to PSTN, Async, 9600 bps.
Set your 90si Default Settings to: (05) Full Duplex, (08) Async 9600, (17) OMNI, Sectera, vIPer, other Con-
nected and your chosen configuration (See Section 2.3 Choose a Configuration).
Apply power to the omni and login as an Authorized User <AU> or Terminal Administrator <TA>...

If your OMNI / 90si does not work after you make the above changes, confirm the following setting. To view
these settings press the Menu button followed by each individual code digit followed by Enter. For example, 2,1
would be Menu, 2, Enter, 1, Enter to view the Term Control setting.

2,2 Set Network = PSTN ASYNC
2,4 Set LCL Port = EIA232
2,6 Set Rate = ASYNC 9.6 kbps
2,7,1-4 CLK Polarity = (set all to Normal) 3,3,1
2,12 DTE TX CLK = OMNI
2,13 RESYNC INTRVL = DSBL
Required L-3 provided LDI Red Data Cable: Each OMNI ships with a Local Data Cable, L-3 part number
K10048260-4. One end of this cable terminates in a DB25 connector (into which the 90si plugs), the other con-
nects to the "Local Data" connector on the back of the OMNI/OMNIxi.
