Getting started

Step 1. Connecting the accessory camera
unit
DC SOCKET
DC PLUG
1. Insert the DC plug of the power adapter with the
smaller DC plug into the DC socket in the side of
the camera unit, as shown.
NOTE
Only use the enclosed power adapter (6V DC /
600mA).
2. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a
suitable mains socket or power outlet.
IMPORTANT
Use only the power adapter supplied with the product.

If the Camera Unit has lost link with the Parent Unit
• Check the electrical power and check whether the power adapter on the Camera Unit is connected firmly.
• If the Camera Unit is too far away, it may be going out of range, so move the Camera Unit closer to the
Parent Unit.
• Reset the units by disconnecting them from the battery and electrical power. Wait about 15 seconds before
reconnecting. Allow up to one minute for the Camera Unit and the Parent Unit to synchronize.
• See Step 2. Registration (Pairing), if there is a need to re-register the units.

Step 2. Registration (Pairing)
To re-register your camera unit, or register a new
camera unit, follow the procedure below:

1. Press the
button of the parent unit to access
the main menu.

2. Press the
button or
REGISTER.

3. Press the
button to confirm. The parent unit
will display
Registration
Registering...
which indicates it has entered the
registration mode.
4. Press and hold the
until it emits a beep tone.
5. There will be a beep and the display will show
Registered
when the registration is successfully
completed, and the camera unit will be assigned a
baby unit number, which can be checked from the
parent unit.
