U,S, EPA EMiSSiON CONTROL WARRANTY STATEMENT
YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLiGATiONS
The United States EnvironmentalProtectionAgency (EPA)and GeneracPower Systems, Inc. (Generac)are pleasedto explainthe EmissionControl
System Warranty (ECSWarranty) on your new 2011 and later equipment. New equipmentthat use small spark-ignited enginesmust be designed,built,
and equippedto meet stringent anti-smog standards for the federal government.Generacwill warrant the emission control system on your equipment
for the periodof time listed below providedthere has been no abuse, neglect, unapprovedmodification or improper maintenanceof your equipment.
The emission control system on this equipmentincludesall components whose failure would increasethe emissions of any regulatedpollutant.These
components are listed inthe Emissions Information section of this manual.
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY COVERAGE:
This ECSWarrantyis valid for two years, or for the same period as specified in the GeneracLimited Warranty,whichever is longer.For equipmentwith
hour meters, the warranty period is a number of hours equal to half the Useful Life to which the equipmentis certified, or the warranty period specified
above in years, whichever is less. The Useful Life can be found on the Emission Control Label on the engine. If, during such warranty period, any
emission-relatedpart on your equipmentis found to be defective in materialsor workmanship, repairs or replacementwill be performed by a Generac
AuthorizedWarranty Service Dealer.
OWNER'S WARRANTY RESPONSiBiLiTiES:
As the equipmentowner, you are responsiblefor the completion of all required maintenanceas listed in your factory supplied Owner's Manual. For
warranty purposes, Generacrecommendsthat you retain all receipts covering maintenanceon your generator,but Generaccannot deny warranty
solely due to the lack of receipts.
Youshould be aware that Generacmay deny any and/or all warranty coverage or responsibilityif your equipment, or a part!componentthereof, has
failed dueto abuse, neglect, improper maintenance,or unapprovedmodifications.
Youare responsible for contactinga GeoeracAuthorized Warranty Dealer as soon as a problemoccurs.The warranty repairs shouldbe
completed in a reasonable amount oftime, not to exceed 30 days.

IMPORTANT NOTE:This warranty statement explainsyour rights and obligations underthe EmissionControl System Warranty,which is providedto
you by Generacpursuant to federal law. Seealso the "GeneracLimited Warrantiesfor GeneracPower Systems, Inc.," which is enclosed herewithon a
separate sheet, also provided to you by Generac.Note that this warranty shall not apply to any incidental, consequentialor indirect damages caused
by defects in materialsor workmanship or any delay in repair or replacement of the defective part(s). This warranty is in place of all otherwarranties,
expressedor implied. Specifically,Generacmakes no otherwarranties as to the merchantabilityor fitness for a particular purpose. Any implied
warranties which are allowed by law, shall be limited in durationto the terms of the express warranty provided herein. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
The ECSWarrantyapplies only to the emission control system of your new equipment.Both the ECSWarrantyand the GeneracWarrantydescribe
important rights and obligationswith respect to your new engine.
Warrantyservice can be performed only by a GeneracAuthorizedWarranty Service Facility.When requestingwarranty service, evidencemust be
presentedshowing the date of the sale to the original purchaser/owner.
