GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS "TWO YEAR" LiMiTED WARRANTY FOR
LP SERIES PORTABLE GENERATORS
Fora periodof two yearsfrom the date of originalsale, GeneracPowerSystems, Inc. (Generac) w arrants its LP Seriesgeneratorswill befree from defects
in materialsandworkmanshipfor the items andperiodset forth below. Generacwill, at its discretion,repairor replaceany part that, upon examination,
inspectionandtesting by Generacor a GeneracAuthorizedWarrantyServiceDealer,is found to be defective.Any equipmentthat the purchaser/ownerclaims
to be defectivemust be returnedto and examinedby the nearestGeneracAuthorizedWarrantyServiceDealer.All transportationcosts underthe warranty,
includingreturnto the factory,are to be borne andprepaidby the purchaser/owner. T his warranty appliesonly to GeneracLP Seriesportable generatorsand
is not transferablefrom originalpurchaser.Saveyour proof-of-purchasereceipt.If you do not provideproof of the initial purchasedate, the manufacturer's
shippingdate of the product will be usedto determinethe warranty period.
WARRANTY SCHEDULE
Consumerapplicationsare warrantedfor two (2) years. Commercialand Rentalapplicationsarewarrantedfor one(1) year or 1000 hours maximum,
whichever comesfirst.

YEARONE- Limited comprehensive coverageon Laborand Part(s) (proof of purchaseand maintenance is required):

maintenance is required):

NOTE: Forthe purposeof this warranty "consumer use" meanspersonalresidentialhouseholdor recreationaluse by originalpurchaser.This warrantydoes
not applyto units usedfor Prime Powerin place of utility whereutility power service is presentor where utility power service doesnot normallyexist.
Oncea generatorhas experiencedcommercialor rental use, it shallthereafterbe considereda non-consumeruse generatorfor the purposeof this
warranty.
All warranty expenseallowancesare subjectto the conditions definedinthe GeneracService PolicyManual.
THiS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Generac builtportablegenerators built priorto June2010.
• Generac portablegenerators that utilizenon-Generac replacement p arts.
• Costsof normalmaintenance and adjustments.
• Failures causedby anycontaminated fuels, oils or lackof properoil levels.
• Repairsor diagnosticsperformedby individualsotherthanGenerac authorized dealersnot authorized in writing by Generac PowerSystems.
• Failures due,but not limited,to normalwearandtear,accident,misuse,abuse,negligence or improperuse.As with all mechanical d evices,the Generac engines
needperiodicpart(s) serviceandreplacement t o performas designed. T hiswarrantywill not coverrepairwhen normaluse has exhausted the life of a part(s) or
engine.
• Failures causedby anyexternal c auseor act of God,such as collision,theft, vandalism,riot or wars, nuclearholocaustfire, freezing,lightning,earth-quake,
windstorm,hail,volcaniceruption,wateror flood, tornadoor hurricane.
• Damage relatedto rodentand/orinsectinfestation.
• Productsthat aremodifiedor alteredin a mannernot authorized by Generac inwriting.
• Any incidental,consequential o r indirectdamagescausedby defectsin materialsor workmanship,or any delayin repairor replacement o f the defectivepart(s).
• Failuredueto misapplication.
• Telephone, cellularphone,facsimile,internet a ccess or othercommunication expenses.
• Expenses relatedto "customerinstruction"or troubleshooting whereno manufacturing defectis found.
• Rental e quipmentusedwhilewarrantyrepairsarebeingperformed.
• Overnight f reightor specialshippingcostsfor replacement p art(s).
• Overtime, h olidayor emergencylabor.
• Startingbatteries, f uses, lightbulbs andenginefluids.
THISWARRANTY IS IN PLACEOFALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED ORIMPLIED.SPECIFICALLY, GENERAC MAKESNO OTHER WARRANTIES ASTO
THE MERCHANTABILITY ORFITNESS FORA PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Any implied warrantiesallowed by law shall be limited in durationto the terms of the
expresswarranty providedherein.Some statesdo not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts,so the abovelimitation may not apply to you.
GENERAC'S ONLY LIABILITY SHALLBETHE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT O FPART(S) A S STATED ABOVE. I N NO EVENT SHALLGENERAC BE LIABLEFOR
ANYINCIDENTAL ORCONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, E VEN IF SUCHDAMAGES AREA DIRECT RESULT OFGENERAC'S NEGLIGENCE. Some statesdo not
allowthe exclusionor limitationof incidental or consequential d amages,so the above limitationmay not applyto you. This warrantygives you specific legal
rights.Youalso haveother rightsfrom stateto state.
