Hold down on the center spindle (C) and gently lift up on the edge of the disk.

Close the disk cover.
Press down near the drive power/open switch (position of the arrow) to ensure that
the cover is locked
NOTE
For AutoPlay CD/DVD:
• An AutoPlay CD/DVD may start during file access, depending on the status of the
disk
When playing back videos from a disk, note that smooth playback may not be
possible in some cases.
If the DVD-ROM & CD-R/RW drive has not been accessed within 30 seconds, the drive
motor will automatically shut down to reduce the power consumption. When the DVD-ROM &
CD-R/RW drive is accessed once again, the power of the drive motor is turned on.
However, approximately 30 seconds are required until data is actually read from the disk.
