SETTING YOUR CYCLE
SELECTOR CONTROL (TIMER)
Use this control to choose the agitation
time and to start the washer.
• For heavy soil and sturdy fabrics,
use SUPER.
• For light soil and delicate fabrics,
use SHORT.
ULTRA CLEAN
The Ultra Clean cycle features a high
efficiency spray rinse system which
achieves excellent rinsing results and
uses less water than a traditional
deep fill rinse cycle.
Use this cycle for most loads to get
between 4 and 14 minutes of wash time.
The High Efficiency Spray Rinse
System
The washing portion of this cycle ends
with a drain and spin the same as do
traditional wash cycles.
After that, the spray rinse system begins.
• The washer continues to spin at the
end of the wash cycle. There is no deep
fill.
• Fresh water is added as the machine
spins the load. Repeated spinning with
six periodic sprays achieves excellent
rinsing results.
NOTES: To assure proper spray rinsing:
• Do not open the washer lid during spray
rinsing.
• Do not use a liquid fabric softener.
You could stain your clothes. Use a fab-
ric softener sheet in the dryer instead.
2ND RINSE
A second rinse removes excess
detergent residue.
STEP 1. Set the WATER LEVEL Control.
STEP 2. Set the WASH / RINSE
TEMPERATURE Control.
STEP 3. Set the SPEEDS Control to the
desired position.
STEP 4. Set the Cycle Selector Control
(Timer) to 2nd RINSE.
STEP 5, Pull the Timer knob out to start
the washer.
NOTE: You may select an additional SPIN
only.
• Set the Timer knob to SPIN,
• An additional spin may shorten drying
times for heavy fabrics or special-care
items by removing excess water.
