[MONITOR]
Adjust the brightness of the LCD display in 7 steps.
[LCD MODE]
= The LCD works in its normal mode.
[OFF]
[AUTO POWER LCD]
= The LCD is brighter and easier to see.
[POWER LCD]
- The LCD monitor automatically returns to normal brightness after 30
seconds when recording in [POWER LCD] mode. Press any button
to make the LCD monitor bright again.
- The number of recordable pictures decreases in [AUTO POWER
LCD] and [POWER LCD] mode.
[GUIDE LINE]
[REC. INFO.]
Displays the recording information and guidelines.
[PATTERN]
Brings different guide lines to the LCD monitor to assist you in framing,
composition, and aligning.
- The [PATTERN] setting is fixed to
[HISTOGRAM]
Shows the histogram that allows you to easily check a picture's expo-
sure.
[HIGHLIGHT]
When the auto review or review function is activated, white saturated
areas appear flashing in black and white.
- If there are any white saturated areas, compensate the exposure
towards negative. This might result in a better picture.
- There may be white saturated areas if the distance between the
camera and the subject is too close when taking pictures with the
flash.
[MF ASSIST]
In manual focus, the assistance screen appears on the centre of the
screen to facilitate focusing on the subject.
= The screen works in its normal mode.
[OFF]
= The centre of the screen is enlarged.
[MF1]
= The centre of the screen is enlarged over the whole screen.
[MF2]
[ECONOMY]
[POWER SAVE]
Turns off the camera automatically after the selected time.
[AUTO LCD OFF]
Turns off the LCD display automatically after the selected time.
- The status indicator lights while the LCD monitor is turned off. Press
any button to turn on the LCD monitor again.
