Zigzag foot
The zigzag stitch is one of the most common and versatile
stitches. It can be a utility stitch for button sewing,
buttonhole making, hemming, overcasting, mending and
darning.
It can also be used to decorate with trims, appliques and
cut work, or as a decorative stitch.
Monogramming

Attach the darning p!ate (see page 34i and remove the
foot.
Attach a piece of stabilizer On the wrong side (Bottom side)
of the fabric.
Draw letters on the fabric with tailor's chalk.
Set the fabric on an embroidery hoop.
Slowly guide the fabric to sew satin stitches over the letters.
