Removing the System Memory (RAM)

The computer has two memory sockets for 200 pin Small Outline Dual In-line Memory Modules (SO-DIMM) DDR II
(DDR2) supporting 533/667/800 MHz. The main memory can be expanded up to 4GB. The SO-DIMM modules sup-
ported are 512MB, 1024MB and 2048MB DDR Modules. The total memory size is automatically detected by the POST
routine once you turn on your computer.
Memory Upgrade Process
1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery
2. Locate the memory (RAM) bay cover and remove screws
3. Lift off the bay cover
