3.5 Automatic Turning Backlight Off Settings

You can configure the Message Display's backlight to be turned off automatically if no operation
is performed for 5 minutes. (The default setting is "Auto off".)
1. Open the fi-5000N's cover and press the [SET] key.
The following settings screen appears.
2. With the [ ] key, select "Administrator Setup", and press the [ENT] key.
The screen to enter the Administrator's PIN (personal iden-
tification number) appears.
3. Enter the Administrator PIN (the default setting is "5000"), and press the [ENT] key.
The following screen appears.
4. With the [ ] key, select "Auto Backlight Off", and press the [ENT] key.
The following screen appears.
5. To turn the backlight off automatically after a certain period of time, select "Auto off",
to leave the backlight's power always on, select "Always on" and then press the [ENT]
key.
The following screen appears.
With this, the backlight setting is done.
