• If you make the machine continue printing manually on the first set, Collate will be canceled. For
details about making the machine continue printing manually, see "If Error Occurs with the
Specified Paper Size and Type".
• If the [Ignore Application Collate] check box is cleared in the PCL 5e printer driver or [Application
Collate] is selected in the PCL 6 printer driver, the collate settings in the application's [Print] dialog
box are applied.
The followings are the two types of Collate.
Collate
Printed output is assembled as sets in sequential order.
Shift Collate
This function is available on type 3 only.
Each job or set is output in separate stacks so you can easily separate them.
• This function is also available using the PostScript 3 printer driver.

Staple (Type 3 Only)

If you are using type 3, this machine can staple individual sets when printing multiple sets.
