TROUBLESHOOTING

When "XX" Is Displayed
U code is displayed on the copy counter. U1
"PE" is displayed on the copy counter.
"E" and number are alternately displayed on
the copy counter.
When "XX" Is Displayed
When you load paper in the paper
trays, make sure that the front, rear
and left guides securely hold the paper.
When you change the paper size of
the paper tray, adjust the paper sie
selector.
If the paper size you need is not
there, select " "
Make enlarged copies of this page and stick them on the wall.

Close the right side cover.
U2 The copier is set for user codes.
Enter your user code (3digits).
See page 42.
U4 Reset the optional sorter correctly.
U6 Contact your serveice
representative.
Load paper
Turn the main switch off, wait a
few seconds, then turn it on. If the
E code appears again, contact
your service representative.
